Positioned at the front of the property which is called "Rose & Barn Homestead", with its own parking, offering a peaceful sense of privacy away from the rest of the estate. (no crossings with other guests or property owner)

Queen-sized bed in a separate bedroom with air conditioning (heating), plus two additional freestanding heaters for cooler nights.

• Entertainment
TV with free-to-air channels, DVD player, and a curated collection of DVDs.

Cambewarra Mountain Cottages operates with 2 cottages on the 1-acre property with the owners also living in a separate house.

The Rose Cottage is at the front of the property and The Barn Cottage at the rear ensuring all guests have their privacy.

Please Note - limited cooking facilities in this cottage.
Still, the Rose cottage offers a microwave, sandwich maker, an electric fry pan, crockery, cutlery, fridge, coffee and tea-making facilities, and toaster. A Weber BBQ is placed on the Verandah.

We had a lovely time at The Rose Cottage! The place was cozy and peaceful, just as described. It’s in a great location, close to the Cambewarra Mountain Lookout and Kangaroo Valley, making it perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and romantic getaway.

What beautiful weekend nice secluded area within driving distance of Berry, kangaroo Valley, nowra perfect location for adventures and perfect to relax and unwind by the fire when you get back highly recommend

Cambewarra Lookout

A stunning view of the whole Valley! You can even see the ocean from it. There are also lots of cute birds around!

Cambewarra Mountain Lookout

The Cambewarra Lookout sits at the peak of Cambewarra Mountain, 678 metres above sea level. To the east, you can see right out to the coastline and will enjoy panoramic views of Coolangatta Mountain in the north all the way to Sussex Inlet in the south.

Just up the road from The Barn Cottage, you'll find a steep, windy road that leads you to one of the best views in the area stretching as far as the ocean. Take a picnic or a couple of drinks to watch the sunset, and you might get lucky and come across one of the local wombats.

The Retreat played the role of perfect home base for adventuring, with The Cambewarra Lookout just 5km away and perfectly placed for a sunset stopt, the views covers the expanse from Nowra to the ocean and it is beautiful.

Wine Tasting At Silos

Silos provided us with some of the best wines that we've had. The staff are kind, knowledgable and were able to have a laugh with us. We couldn't pass up the cheese board and nor should you!

The Village

We started our morning by cruising through the village, which offered a few boutique shops, cafes and a rad bakery. First off, The General Cafe had an amazing brunch and great coffee – would highly recommend this place. Secondly, the bakery also had the most delicious pies. On our last day, we treated ourselves at the Friendly Inn for a couple of schooners and lunch. This place had a lot of character, both inside and out, not to mention a nice outdoor beer garden.
