Originally built in 1948, our vintage log cabin is a work in progress as we continue to make upgrades into next year. If you are looking for luxury, our modest cabin is not the best fit.

≈ ACCESS ≈
Since this cabin sits on the lake, you will need to walk down 40-steps of imperfect stairs to access the cabin. This cabin is not handicap accessible!

Also, our private dirt road is narrow and a little steep. All-wheel drive is not needed but can be intimidating for timid drivers with big vehicles. You will also need to make a 5-point turnaround or reverse uphill to exit —A little adventurous but very possible.

≈ PARKING ≈
Parking is limited to ONE vehicle only due to our narrow road and RVs or trailers are not allowed. Instructions on where to park will be provided upon check-in.

≈ HOUSE RULES ≈
Violators are subject to a fine of up to $500 and immediate eviction.
≈ No events or parties —no more than 4 registered guests at any time.
≈ No smoking, fireworks, or discharge of firearms.
≈ Pets are allowed with a $150 fee — 2 dogs max. and under 65 lbs
≈ Quiet times after 10pm
≈ Do not move furniture and decor objects
≈ Do not leave any food or trash outside

≈ SENSITIVE TOILETS & PLUMBING ≈
Our plumbing and septic system is delicate —please only flush 1-ply toilet paper provided and human waste. We also don’t have a sink garbage/food disposal, so please discard leftover food waste into the trash can. Fixing a septic clog is upwards of $1000 charge, so please remember to abide by these rules! You will lose your security deposit and be charged the difference for any septic backup.

≈ WILDLIFE & NATURE ≈
We do our best to keep pests away but you are out nested in the woods and mountains. You might see critters from spiders and ants to eagles and otters, with many things in between. Do not leave any food or trash outside!

≈ AMENITIES ≈
We provide the basics for your stay including fresh linen, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, toilet paper, dish soap, oil, salt, and pepper. For extra comfort, please bring your own extra towels, cooking ingredients, bottled water, and blankets.

    Swimming And Paddle Boarding

Knowing the cabin was perfectly located on the lake, we decided to bring our stand-up paddleboards. This was a delight as we spent the afternoons floating around, exploring the area while taking in the magnificent landscape. The temperature was pleasant and made for the perfect rinse and reset from the afternoon sun....
